Providing Clean Water with a Traditional Bucket Well
This traditional water well is designed for villages experiencing severe water shortages and lacking electricity. Built in remote areas, it features a bucket-drawing system that allows multiple people to collect water at the same time. With a capacity to serve over 120 people—equivalent to about 15 or more families—this well plays a vital role in improving daily life.
While primarily intended for drinking water, the well also supports hygiene, cooking, housekeeping, and even small-scale farming. It offers a sustainable and reliable water source for communities with limited access to clean water, ensuring long-term benefits.
Once constructed in your name (or a name of your choice), you will receive a collection of photos and videos documenting the building process, along with the precise location of the well.
